I thought the device was excellent and would recommend it to any small boat operator. As a bailer it is able to suck up that last little bit of water that has otherwise to be sponged up, and to do so much more quickly and efficiently. Typically it would be used in conjunction with a bucket or pail; as soon as the bucket is no longer able to collect much water, the bailer can take over to finish the job.
When used as a boat hook, it is easy to extend and has a good positive lock, and this is equally easy to release when the boat hook is no longer required.
One is tempted to look about for things to wash when it is used in its power washer mode. Altogether, a well made device.
